Bourgogne Chardonnay
Terroirs
This is a classic among the classics. Burgundy is not only famous for its red wines, but also for its white wines. The grape variety ‘Chardonnay’ found itself the perfect place to be. It expresses itself fully under Burgundy’s temperature and its type of soil. Even though there is a difference between the North and the South of the region, ‘Chardonnay’ offers different nuances accompanied by some identical finesse with its specific character that can be found in every ‘Chardonnay’. This specificity is what we called the Burgundy terroir.
Tasting
Beautiful yellow colour with golden reflections and brilliant brightness. Clean with pleasant freshness. It expresses the aromas of yellow fruits, citrus fruits and white flowers. The attack is straight forward and lively right from the beginning. The aromas found in the nose can also be found in the mouth. It is well balanced between the acidity and the fruitiness.
