Nuits Saint Georges
Terroirs
Nuits-Saint-Georges is considered as Côte de Nuits’ capital, it is in fact the last village of the Côte de Nuits. Everything is a question of topography and soil. Grounds consist essentially of limestone and marl. It is close to one of the famous Grands Crus village, which is Vosne-Romanée. The grapes were harvested by hand in small volume cases to avoid crushing and then brought to the winery for hand sorting on the sorting bench.
